Private Operations vs. Public LLM Monoculture

Diridit EngineeringEditorial

Why uploading proprietary operational data into generic public LLMs is a poor default, and how a business-specific context layer keeps real workflows useful and private.

Uploading proprietary operational data into generic public LLMs is a poor default for most operating businesses. The interesting wins come from much smaller, well-scoped context: bookings, customer history, follow-up notes, internal SOPs — kept inside the company's own operating layer. AI then assists real workflows instead of competing with them, and sensitive operational data does not leave the systems the business already controls.
